New Jacket... The Patriotic Plaid Monster

I think it might need a thick belt, to accentuate the waste
if I don't get fatter it will fit for a long time

Not Your Friend

-People who act like they want to hang out, but fail to make plans with you
-People who text while you're hanging out--and it bothers you
-When they make sure you know, you're not invited
i.e. post pictures
-When you want to punch them in the face
-When they don't text you back, when you know they are ALWAYS texting

Pissed at Myself

I have a job, I got glasses, I floss... but I just can't get my eating under control. If I could I would be such a happier person, just because I would be less stressed out. Shit, for the record I haven't eaten this...yet

Another Palette In Review

For my birthday my great friend Alex got my the Kat Von D True Romance Eyeshadow Palette in Beethoven. I really like the design of this palette. It's pretty sleek and the outside is in a interesting material that is a bit soft. It's kinda hard to open and the brushes are tossable. Now the important stuff. The colours are banging and highly pigmented and this usually means they tend to fall off your face when you first put them on. So make sure to use some eyeshadow primer. All but two colours are shimmery and all are high quality with huge impact. I'm not very good at taking pictures of my eye so I don't have a great picture for you.

Non Advice

This is some of the worst advice I have ever received, like for reals almost every single one of these looks are shitty. And in my opinion all the models look hella sick.

Marchesa

I'm not a huge fan of the styling, besides the nail polish, but the dresses seem to be awesome...

Coming up

Pretty soon I will be reviewing some products that I paid for, not shit I get for free and feel glowingly about. Until then...Covergirl Micro Minerals have A LOT OF sparkle in them. I don't mean the bronzer or blush, the actual foundation. Also L'Oreal Beauty Tubes suck, a clumpy disaster, but easy and creepy to get off. I want shoes.

Did you Know?

I actually have a Christian name, it's pretty lame since I hate Chritianity. Elspeth=Elizabeth

HMMM

Just thinking about it, you never really know what peoples' motivations are. Once you figure that out about a person I think your life will be way simpler. This doesn't mean I ever know what motivates people, but I hope to one day to be able to figure people out.

I don't even wear nice shoes

I really want to buy something that will make me dress nice
but alas I probably won't
I found these on shopbop for 187$, which is cheap for LAMB

My Ideal Hairstyle

I'm not a big camilla belle fan, but I do admit she is beautiful. Anyways I want to steal her look, especially her hair.

Gotta Say

Anti depressants Work!
Too bad they don't make you less forgetful
I forgot my doctor's app. today
let's hope they don't charge me
there's always next month

I actually got It!

I really bought it! The Dermalogica gentle cream exfoliant. I think it was the fact that I work right next to a place that sells it (The Araina Day Spa). As I mentioned before, I was over having skin issues. I have used it twice so far and I feel it is helping improve my skin. However if you didn't just get paid and feeling like a treat was in order I suggest you try an aspirin mask. There are many demos on youtube as to how it works, since its used as an exfoliator be sure to moisturize and SUNSCREEN after.

In other news, I'm looking for a new job, this just isn't my cup of tea, if I get hired at kilby for the summer, that's where I'll be. Plus it's ueber easy and pays more. Any other suggestions? Send them my way.
Also I want a hair style, my hair is currently shoulderish length, holla at me!!

p.s. I'm working at a hotel
if only I was a prostitute--hella bank

A Palette in Review

I got myself Marie-Antoinette Palette from Sephora. I hadn't used it yet because I already had the Too Faced Palette.  But I decided since I bought it, I might as well use it. I tried it this morning getting ready to go to Ikea I have to say I really like the eyeshadows, but the blush doesn't offer up its peachy colour very easily. Also the white shimmer eyeshadow I intended to use as highlighter was in an awkward position and difficult to use. On my eyes today I used the purple on the outer corner, the lighter blue on my lid, and the gold on my crease.

I realize these aren't the greatest pictures, but whatever I was in a hurry.

A simple Explanation

You know why I HATE the "true love waits" and "silver ring thing" movement? Because it invalidates an entire section of the population that can't get married. Gay people.  In a lot of places marriage is denied to them. What is that saying to l.g. teens? That they can't have an intimate relationship? That they don't matter enough to deserve happiness? I think that's what people involved in that stupid invasive practice are trying to say. Also the preachers who spread the abstinence only  message use misinformation to rope people into their cult. The "silver ring" is a modern day chastity belt, seriously have you ever seen a guy wearing one? Is there any pressure on men to remain virgins? I think not.

what's keeping me up At night

Makeupalley is like the best website in the entire world. I freaking love reading all of the reviews on almost every single personal beauty product. The one thing that bothers me is when there are all awesome reviews and just one terrible one. It ruins my entire view of the product.

I'm feeling hopeful

Since I was thirteen I've had permanent bumps on my forehead. I went to the doctor and they would refer me to a dermatologist and just prescribed me antibiotics. This was really annoying, since my skin wasn't bad enough I wasn't even allowed to see someone who could help, that has pissed me off for years. Lately I have gotten so sick of the bumps and oily skin I have been perusing the web and became interested in Dermalogica. Their website basically explained what was wrong with my skin. The oil acts as glue to keep my pores clogged. This is a little gross, so feel free to be annoyed with me. So I decided to buy their gentle cream exfoliant. I don't know how much it costs, but I hope it could help me. May I add it has excellent reviews on MakeupAlley. Arghhhhhhh

To be Busy or not to be Busy

For most of my life I wondered if I should want to be busy or want to have a mellow easy going type of life.  When I'm busy I want to be lazy, when I'm lazy I want to be busy. It's pretty lame. I hope I can find an appropriate ratio in my life....eventually.

An hour to go

I'm obsessed with lipstick, lipgloss, and lip stains. This morning I've been doing my usual beauty blog perusal and wham all I care about is lip stuff. I think this is normal since this season BLACK lipgloss and NUDE lipstick is in. Who knew that the world of lippy is so dichotomous. I'm not brave enough to venture in the world of either extreme yet, however I'm considering lipsticks to wear or at least buy and leave in drawer. I've somewhat narrowed it down. I want a YSL Rouge Volupte Lipstick. I'm not sure I'm even going to be able to find a place that even sells these little beauties, but I'm confident I can stare at their pictures for a long time while I google my heart out. I've only read good things about them and then I just saw this. While the review was good the way they looked on her lips was rather out of context and is still throwing me for a loop. I hope to soon be able to try these on in person and hopefully look normal. Of the swatches on their website I like Rose Culte the best. Provocative Pink looks promising too though. Did I mention they have SPF in them, well they do!

Can't sleep, work in four hours

There are few things that bother me more than losing things and doors. I am usually very fearful of losing things, forgetting things, and things getting stolen. It stresses me out all of the time. I went for two days last week freaking out, silently, because I thought I lost my ipod. It turns out I didn't, but it just confirmed my fears.
At this moment I'm sitting t my computer with my cat in my lap. It's favorite time to make me pet it is when I'm at my desk. It's really weird since two minutes ago in my bed it wanted nothing to do with me.

Favorite Beauty Product--
first purchased=2006
I've been wearing this mascara for a long time and people have asked me to whip it out to borrow it they liked it on me so much. I also must point out it doesn't smudge ever and it makes my eyes pop. It does take a while to put on (that might just be because I'm anal about my mascara), but it does dry pretty fast.

Horror Porn

Why is porn considered obscene but people getting their heads chopped off only mildly offensive? I find this really weird since in real life people actually do have crazy sex, but are rarely allowed to kill someone with an axe and eat their remains in real life. Doesn't it seem odd that being a porn star is considered shameful, while being a movie villain or serial killer is sometimes considered sexy i.e. DEXTER? You would think it would be the opposite --> That porn stars would be accepted by the mainstream and actors who chose to play mass murderers would be treated as pariahs. I think that porn stars deserve more respect. They're job isn't nearly as glamorous, they get paid less, and get treated like fallen women (or men) while movie stars get treated like we're lucky to be allowed to view them and get paid more for an easier job
That's not to say porn stars have it that tough, I'm just saying society is a bit judgemental when it comes to the people who star in dirty movies.
